If God had created a scientist instead of Adam, the scientist would of had to conclude that the Universe was much older than one day. The garden of eden would of taken time to grow. The light from the stars in the sky would of taken years to get here. If God could create the Universe he could easily create it with a past, he had to. If he hadn't science would prove that the earth is young and that God created it. If God wanted his presence proven he would prove it, what he wants is for you to believe in him based on faith.
