A fetus. An unborn child. A precious clump of cells that, if properly cared for and incubated, has the potential to become human life.

If you, a recently impregnated young potential mother, choose to nurse this clump of cells into childhood, I respect that. If your religion compels you to keep that potential baby, by all means, go ahead.

But people who demand we outlaw abortion, who insist that we force a woman to carry a thing inside of her for nine months, then go through an extremely painful process to give birth to a baby that she gives up for adoption immediately? People who give no consideration to the woman, whether financially or mentally unstable, who might have to halt her education and career just to bring a child doomed for heartbreak and poor upbringing? Not to mention the physical and emotional stress that would accompany giving it up for adoption.

Adoption or abortion. Which one do you think is more humane to the mother, as well as the child?

If someone falls ill with a disease, should we force them to endure that disease?

For the recored if I was incapacitated I would want to be kept alive until I recovered or died regardless of the machines trying to keep me alive. No mater what kind of pain that I am in.

You're saying that to avoid some stress on the mother's part, you should kill an unborn child?

If a psychopath was stressed by your existence, should he kill you?

I think your argument has something to do with the fact that a clump of cells must be cared for and incubated. But doesn't a baby have to be cared for and sheltered? Doesn't even a teenager rely upon his parents for food and a place to sleep?

You're arguing that both of these don't have a right to life just because they depend on someone else?
