HS - There's a new law that allows men a say in the birth/abortion decision. When the couple reaches an impass, either or both may take the case to court to be heard and decided on by a family court judge.

HQ Men - Would you take your spouse to court if you were in this postition? More likely to if you did want the baby, or more likely to if you didn't want the baby?

HQ Women - If you were pregnant and didn't want the baby, would you rather have the baby and let the father raise it, or would you rather fight it out in court? If you want the baby and the father doesn't, would you obey the court ruling that says you must abort?

All of this is based on the pro-choice assumption that no actual baby, no human being, is involved other than the two who are pregnant.  No consideration would be given to the embryo, since it is not a person and has no rights. The judge considers the case based on the competing rights and interests of the two.

It would completely depend on my relationship with the father and whether i was prepared to go through the pregnancy.

No court would ever rule that a woman was to have an abortion simply because the father didn't want it. No court. Period. And if on some far off planet it did, i'd like to see them enforce their ruling.
