There's another reason why nations hate us... we're everything they're not.

NOTE: Not saying that everyone that doesn't like us doesn't like us because of that, but you know a lot of people in Europe are jealous of America.

nations don't hate us because we don't mind our own business. they hate us because we go in, bomb their countries (sometimes for a good reason) and then leave, letting some new asshole come in. so now they still got an asshole running their lives AND they got the crap bombed out of them. we need to learn to stick with things we start (Afghanistan will probably be our latest failure). also, people hate us because in many countries people only know about us what their asshole leaders tell them. how else do you explain Kuwait, who we freaking saved from Iraq, who now are so angry at us for going aftrer Irtaq. here's the reason: these countries (or i should say govts) make enough money from oil that they think they can afford to ignore their people, but that's a mistake, cause trhe people are getting sick of shit, and they look towards radicals (Bin laden), and so the govts kinda distract the people (cause they are also afraid of elements like UBL) by demonizing the west and pretending to give a crap about "Muslim causes" like Iraqis and Palestinians, so all their messages about the USA are negative. that's just one example. another reason is that OUR leaders are sometimes assholes

We don't bomb and leave. We're in Bosnia, Kosovo, South Korea, Afghanistan, and the list goes on. But if South Korea wants to get invaded by North Korea I guess we should go ahead and pack up and leave like most of them want us to. I wonder wong Kim Jong-Il would do... I can't imagine. A lot of time they want us out, so we leave. Then something happens and all of a sudden everyone loves us.

we are not exactly "there" in afghanistan now either. all of our troops are chasing al qaeda and taliban groups, or else holed up in Kabul with the multinational security force. experts agree the biggest threat to stability are warlords (that's what happened after trhe Sovietrs left in 89, leading way for the Taliban). the warlords aren'tr in kabul. they are building armies and running the show in outlying provinces. the usa doesn't want to send more troops because we are too casualty averse, afraid of getting "stuck in the mud" a la Vietnam, and because we are sending all ourt troops to Iraq. and karzai keeps asking for more help.

as for S. Korea, those US troops serve no purpose other than as a trip wirte excuse for war against N. Korea.

kosovo...it was my understanding that we killed an exoribitant amount of people with bombs because no would wanted to send in grtound troops (actrually clinton did...butr the NATO allies...excluding GB...rejected it)

I believe that the absolute best president has got to be George Washington.  And I'd say the worst President ever is William Henry Harrison.

George Washington I can understand (though I am no huge fan of him).
But Harrison? He wasn't anything special, but saying he's worse than Hoover or Harding seems a stretch.

I dont think that being jealous has anything to do with terrorism.
Im not 100% sure about this, so correct me if I'm wrong.  But didn't the usa help out Israel in like the 1960s or something from invasions from islamic countries?
That, along with them hating capitalism and us being the infidel has caused SOME Islamic groups to hate the USA.

bush is the best president because, I have seen and heard his faith throughout his term and I have been impressed with his integrity."

"I am following Bush because from everything Ive seen, he is a faithful man."

Bush is because he is the first President that Ive seen that says His life changed when he met Jesus Christ, and will admit it to anybody. In that I think it was a very tough decision to make concerning Stem Cell research, and I think he didn't comprmise his faith, which is a very honorable thing to do. Also, that he is so dead on about ending partial birth abortion, again it takes integrity to not comprimise.

"he knows more than I do on this issue and I trust him base on his past decisions."

"...I think Bush is doing an excellent job. "

"I like Bush because he seems to be consistant in his Faith, which impacts every area of his life."

There are small amount of people in the world that hate America because of pure envy. If a country does not support one of America's wars, it does not make them anti-american, it makes them anti-Iraq war. Also, it is false that the upper class is responsible for job creation. Most jobs in America are created by small business owners, hardly the upperclass. Cutting the taxes for the rich does not drive the economy. Do you really think that a millionaire will buy more cars or clothes if he has $50, 000, 000 as opposed to $35, 000, 000? Here is something most do not know, the top wealthiest 20% of the population control 83% of the national wealth. Do they really need more?

John Forbes Kerry will win 2004

America's Greatest President, D. Eisenhower !!!!

worst bush.... And how come so many Americans THINK the world doesnt like them...OH of course September 11....I forgot ..but I also read here

"The reason everyone hates us is because we (the usa) use up 80 percent of the worlds resources. (thats what my history teacher told me) And because we are the richest and most powerful country in the world they are probably just jealous.

I think it is quite arrogant and dangerous to tell these things to young people ...of course ..THE USA is the richest country but countries like Germany ( biggest exporter of the world and 3rd biggest economy )dont have to be jealous and 80% of the worlds recources???
Bush abandoned the Kyoto Treaty. Maybe it's because the treaty is designed to reduce the emissions of greenhouse effect...maybe americans should start seeing the rest of the world...
