Whose idea was it to steal Palestinian land away from the Palestinians, and give it to people of Jewish faith, and why? It has caused so much pain and suffering.

Of course, the U.S. continues to back this Jewish State, even though this state has oppressed so many.

It's no wonder there is so much violence over this issue. The world allowed a community of religious fundamentalist to establish a state in an area that was owned by other people. These people are now, and have been displaced since.

Why is it that so many blame the Palestinians?

Torn on this one.  First, the Jewish state was pushed by a group of people that, for some reason, think that there has to be a Jewish state for the fulfilling of the prophecies.  All prophecies regarding Israel's inheritance in the land's around Jerusalem were fulfilled in the Old Testament.  On the other hand, if every nation that currently exists were to hand over their land to the nation that they took it from, I'm not really sure who would "own" what anymore.  Certainly there would be no United States.  There'd be no Canada.  No Mexico.  No United Kingdom.  And this is just a handful of examples.  After all, going back through history, one would have to have Israel give back the land and then have the land given back to Israel and then have Israel give it back to a bunch of nations (of which most don't even exist as an entity anymore).  I have a headache.

That's a very intelligent post. I hope other that read it will realize how this religous belief has created a bloodbath for which there is no true resolution. For as long as their is faith, the other side will always be wrong.

As long as their are two sides to any argument, someone has to be wrong.  Sometimes, even both sides are wrong.
