No.  It is my true belief that if jesus existed, he would have been buried in the clothes he wore.  In all seriousness, i believe he wore jeans and a red tshirt.  He would have been an outsider because of his 'crazy' idea that he is jesus, god's son.

I realize you probably just wrote this to have the last post Exxoss, but the bible says what he was buried in.

Is the bible right?  Can you prove it?  Perhaps the bible says it was his clothes, but then again, how do we know the bible scribes didn't lie?

Of course the Shroud is real.  And unless someone reads all the scientific articles about it, you couldn't possibly make an informed opinion about it.  But if you read the science, you'd be convinced.

I think if Jesus existed it probably was the burial cloth he was born in. There is enough evidence to support it.

The burial cloth he was born in?

It seems like some of you doubt Jesus even existed. Rest assured that he was a real person, even if you don't believe he was God... that's basically been scientifically proven.

The shroud is an interesting thing. The science isn't really valid. Carbon dating dated it a thousand years early, but carbon dating is wrong a lot. Is it possible that it was the burial cloth? Yes. Is it possible that the shroud was just a painting by an artist done a thousand years after Jesus' death? Yes.

Gum girl, I think your spamming. You talk a lot, but you sure don't say much.

Broker-

i meant to say the cloth he was buried in and not born in. It was a mistake because i wasnt on the right train of thought. and why do you think im spamming? i dont even know what that is supposed to mean. The reason my replies dont happen to be as long as yours is because i can get my point across in just a couple sentences instead of a bunch of paragraphs.

A lot of times you say something completely unrelated to anything or post something that doesn't mean anything.

Alright you two.... anyway a possible reason for the carbon dating to be wrong is fire. Way bck in the 14th(I think, somewhere around there) century there was a fire in the church where the shroud was kept. The shroud was saved (duh) but it got burned a little and exposed to quite a bit of smoke. The smoke (carbon) would have bonded to the cloth and thrown off the date in the carbon daing test.

Carbon dating is often wrong, there isn't always a reason like fire. Things have been dated way off when we know how old they really were.
