I think we went over this in other posts but God does not call christians to celebrate passover, but there is nothign wrong with it mostlikely it is what we now call communion.

Jesus has taught us that He is fulfillment of the Old Testament, He has completed the law. We are now able to recognize that the traditions and practices were all symbolic of Christ's coming, and He is more concerned with a personal relationship with all of us.

The Passover was a celebration of the grace of God when His people were in Egypt. The focus was a lamb which was sacrificed for the people's sins. Today we have "The Lamb" in Christ, and the offering of a sacrifice might well be considered a work of salvation, and the Bible clearly says that salvation is not by the works of men's hand but by the complete work of Christ.

The focus of passover is not a sacrifice of a lamb. Please.

dsadevil,

Out of curiosity: Are you Jewish? And do you subscribe to the beliefs of John Locke and the "Enlightenment?"
