If you want to make your voice heard on tax reform, on a rather high volume poll, you can do so at:

http://www.actionamerica.org/taxreformpoll.shtml

Cast your vote and then come back here and discuss it.

The poll has already received more than 1100 votes in less than 5 days. Although it is not a scientific poll, we have attempted to notify Flat Tax and Fair Tax supporters, as well as neutral groups, so as to give people of every political inclination an equal chance to get their suporters to vote and make the results a little more representative of reality than those polls that depend only upon their already biased visitors. Our notifications have included such groups as FreedomWorks (Flat Tax advocates) and Americans for Fair Taxation (Fair Tax advocates), to name just two.

Make your opinion heard and then come back here to discuss it.

I don't like flat tax because the guy making a million a year can obviously afford spending a hundred thousand more than the guy making ten thousand a year can afford to spend a thousand.  Personally, I'm for the current tax system without the loopholes.  Let's get rid of credits for having children (and yes, I have children).  Let's get rid of credits for being married.  Let's get rid of all the stupid loopholes that are out there.

yes letts get rid of loop holes, the problem is that you have no say how your money is used, if you are against abortion you still pay for it thrugh meddicare, if you don't like the current school system you are still force to fund it.
