Should we get rid of the cap and tax 100 percent of earnings?

The idea to tax 100 percent of earnings is fairly sensational in the sense that we are going to live in a completely socialist or communist system. After the crumble of socialist clique in East Europe, the specter of communism searing into people's psyche raised much alert against it. Communism was looked upon as an evil that people should spare no effort to avoid if it has appeared and to revert if any indications of communism present themselves.

Taxation, if overdosed, is rather dangerous, and it 's going to deprive the right of individual choice to the unbearable extent.

Current cap is at $90,000. Since employer-paid portion of the total 12 plus % social security tax is in lieu of additional wages (and no other source of income is taxed for social security), this means the national safety net is very disproportionately paid by those at the cap level and below. Most Americans are not born with wealthy parents and power contacts, yet they are taxed so much more for social security while those few with higher incomes are immune despite their owing more to the nation as they benefit more from the nation.

No! The cap is set at a level that is the maximum that you can expect to get back. If you remove the cap, successful people would loose money for no other resown than they were successful. You don't want to penalize people for success because you will be telling them, "Don't try, we will make sure that you don't get to successfully."

Repeat after me.... people would LOSE money, not loose money (was their money too tight?)  for no other REASON, not resown (and to be resown, do you have to be sown in the first place?).  Mark one up for home schooling.
