Why do YECs insist on a belief that renders their God the ultimate liar?

If God (assuming of course that such a God actually exists and is responsible) wanted Genesis to be taken literally, why did he create a world that is nothing like literal genesis and contridicts its very principles on a nano-second basis?

Furthermore, if God created the world according to Genesis and wanted Genesis to be literal, then God must be operating the world constantly on principles that reject a young Earth.

Either way, a YEC view requires God to be a huge, if not the ultimate Liar.

So takers eh?

I guess when you believe in something as truly bat**** crazy as YEC, you're perfectly willing to ignore the problems of a Liar God.

Hang on a second.... Are you claiming the world is only a few thousand years old. I am afraid that it is much older than that.

It is estimated that the world is abbout 4.6 billion years old (American Billion) and the universe is 13.7 billion years old.

The age of the earth is estimated by looking at geografical features and seeing how long they would take and by carbon dating rocks. The age of the unverse is estimated by observing how far away the oldest galaxies are. A galaxy 13 billion lightyears away means the light has taken 13 billion years to get here and so the universe must be at least 13 billion years old.

Although I say estimates scientists are quite certain and are probably within a few million years.

Not at all. I am wondering how creationists can claim the world is 6,000 years old and still believe their God is honest.

Ok I am bored so I am going to Be the YEC for you. When you say God is a liar do you mean as in the way us humans will lie? I don't understand how you cn possibly show that what you call  alie actually is sinc you don't sem to understand God is outside of our ability to understand and know other then though faith and unwavering belief. It isn't God that has lied but that Satan has been allowed to provide non believers and believers alike of evidence that goes against the truth. Until you have moved away from your position of nonbelief you will never be able to see the truth for what it is and throw away the lies you promote.
I know I don't make a good YEC but figured it might be fun to try. Have a good one

History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes.
-Thomas Jefferson to Alexander von Humboldt, Dec. 6, 1813.
