|Saw a show on the Discovery Channel last night for the first time, even though it's been on for a while. There is a guy working on getting a long tail on a chicken. Apparently when it first develops, the chicken embryo has 16 vertebra, but most of them are resorbed before it hatches. If they can reverse engineer the genetics, they hope to recreate a dinosaur.
