I want to know, what is your opinions on biblical propchecy?

Ex. The prophecy of isreal becoming a nation, the reign on alexandre the great, etc.

-------
Everyone says expect the unexpected, but since now everyone expects the unexpected, the unexpected is now the expected and the expected is the unexpected. So if you are expecting the unexpected, you are actually expecting the expected, so if you start expecting the expected, you will be expecting the unexpected. So everyone should start expecting the expected again and the expected will be expected and the unexpected will be unexpected again, then we can start expecting the unexpected again.

How about Egypt being empty for 40 years?

Pogge:” This is the volume of a sphere with a 62 kilometer (about 39 miles) radius, which is considerably smaller than the 2,000 mile radius of the Earth.”
Wikipedia:” For Earth, the mean radius is 6,371.009 km(≈3,958.761 mi; ≈3,440.069 nmi).”
Wisp to Lester (on Pogge): Do you admit he was wrong about the basics?
Lester: No

Propecy works in two ways.

Firstly prophets were 'commentators' on society. In this role they 'foretold' judgement on the people for disobedience and told where true hope lay. 'Foretelling' amounted to 'prophecies'of the sort...  "if you keep doing what you are doing then God will do this."
Hope lay in return to Jerusalem and restoration of the Temple. Prophets would point to obedience as the way to fulilment of their hopes.

Prohpets did not make "nostradamus" type 'predictions'.

The second way that Prophecy worked was as an interpretive framework for making sense of present 'realities'. This is how passages like Is 7:14 become the interpretive framework for understanding Jesus' life and death. They werent 'predictions' as such but in the aftermath of Jesus death these passages 'became the meaning of Jesus in life and death'.

I don't care much for divination prophesies.

But if i found that any book contains accurate ones, it would strengthen my conviction that it has nothing to do with God.

My idea of God wouldn't 'create', and wouldn't deal with silly stuff like divination.

Failed prophecies, non existing prophecies, failed promises and misquotes in the Bible.

1) vague, unfalsifiable, open to interpretation, or written after the fact (I think you'll find very few bible prophesies that are clear, specific, and falsifiable).

2) self fulfilling or not hard to predict

3) cannot be confirmed to have been fulfilled (Most of the new testament can't be confirmed by independent sources. You just have to take, at face value, stuff that long dead cultists had to say about events that were important to their cult, and which they weren't even eye witnesses to. They're not particularly objective; nor reliable.)

There must be a pattern of successful prophesies that fit all the criteria i've listed (clear, specific, hard to fulfill, falsifiable, the prophesy happened prior to the event, and we can confirm that it was fulfilled). There must be this pattern to rule out the possibility of coincidence.

I think most alleged prophesies fail at least 2 of these 3 standards.

There are some that had the capacity and probability to fail miserably.

They did.
