University of Kansas to offer course on Intelligent Design:
Univ. of Kansas Takes Up Creation Debate

"Creationism is mythology," Mirecki said. "Intelligent design is mythology. It's not science. They try to make it sound like science. It clearly is not."

Pogge:” This is the volume of a sphere with a 62 kilometer (about 39 miles) radius, which is considerably smaller than the 2,000 mile radius of the Earth.”
Wikipedia:” For Earth, the mean radius is 6,371.009 km(≈3,958.761 mi; ≈3,440.069 nmi).”
Wisp to Lester (on Pogge): Do you admit he was wrong about the basics?
Lester: No

"To equate intelligent design to mythology is really an absurdity, and it's just another example of labeling anybody who proposes [intelligent design] to be simply a religious nut," Calvert said. "That's the reason for this little charade."

Let's see, intelligent design has no evidence supporting it, no experiments have been done to support it and no one can tells us what the 'theory' is besides "Goddidit".  Sounds like mythology to me...

The problem with ID is that it does not make any useful predictions. The only thing ID is very good at is muddying the water. It is also useful for opposing  evolution, but its not even particularly good at that.

Evolution does make predictions, and these predictions are very acurate. ID makes no predictions at all. Which one of these is the best theory? How can ID be an 'alternative', when it does not do what Evolution does?

Evolution makes predictions. That is why the Theory of Evolution exists! How can something that makes no predictions be an alternative?
