I understand how elvolution works and all but how can they teach it like a fact in schools when its really just the "Theory"of "evolution? its just like electritity noone can see it but they teach it in all the schools just cause some scientist believes in it. i think thats just plane dumb, if you axe me, more peeple believe in Jesus and a few have even seen him so right there its more believable then evolution which was invented a couple hundred years ago by some elitist sientist. so why not teach about jessus in the schools since we know more about him, and have actual facts that were written down by people who knew him eg. "The Bible!" plus correct me if im wrong but i think theirs some stuff in there about how man's kind came to exsist.

Cute.  I really like the way you threw in the spelling errors to make it really look like you're some dumb hick.  Now log back on as your evolutionist counterpart and rip the very post you just wrote.

Oh man, that'd be hilarious if it were Fred or Demon.

If it's a genuine newbie to the board:

Read the post entitled "Evolution not a fact." This issue has already been addressed.

A lot of what the world perceives as truth is usually what is just economical truth, truth reserved to empower deceitful rationale. Don't despair, the truth is what one day will set people free!

Has it occurred to anyone else why posing as a  dumb hick seems so much more plausible when you're on this side of the argument?

I wonder why.

Aside from your inability to spell, puncuate and structure your argument in any kind of logical manner, your ideas are extremely ignorant. You obviously don't undestand anything abot science. A scientific theory is put forward, this theory is then tested by other (skeptical) scientists, the data is published in a scientific journal which is peer reviewed by no less than two other eminent scientists. The theory (as for the case of evolution) is then tested repeatedly again and again over long periods of time. When you compare this to a religious argument that has to be accepted for what it is and has no means of testing you can see the more belivable statement. Secondly what do you mean you don't like the theory of electricity?! You see the effects of electricity everwhere you go!

What a hoot.  You spell punctuate and about wrong while complaining about someone's spelling.  That's a riot.  Someone pass me a kleenex.  Haha.

EMyers, are you a English teacher by any chance?

In science all data must support a theory, if one peace doesn't fit than that theory has to start all over again or be scrapped. Try to work out how a small specific structure that is entirely necessary to the survival of that organism and you will find that it makes you head hurt.

Give me your best shot. All systems that are allegedly "irreducibly complex" have been refuted. Ten bucks says the first example you post has been shown to be possible more than ten years ago.

One I do not bet. How would the relation ship between a moray eel and a cleaner shrimp start. how would the instincts come about. every time one of the shrimps would come close to the eel it would be dinner.

All instances of symbiosis between a conventional set of "predator" and "prey" start where the predators that do eat their little assistants die off. Developing a symbiotic relationship between a moray eel and shrimp would take a lot less time than even the flagellum.
