How could mud "theoreticly" become a cell? No insults ok? We do way to much of that in this forum, and it ends up taking to much room on the thread.

Who said "mud" became a cell?  Tell us how dirt could become a man...

Hey Debater, I'm going to be reading a book on the subject of abiogenesis -

'Genesis: the Scientific Quest for Life's Origins' by Robert Hazen.

Maybe you could get it and read it too, and we can compare notes.  Then we can conduct a more intelligent debate on your post.

Here, is a youtube video called "the origin of life-abiogenesis". I think it does a pretty good job at describing a reasonable start to how life could come about from the early Earth.

Fencer,

excellent video.  I've been looking for that one.

I've been wondering where you've been lately.  I figured you must be studying hard for finals.  My daughter has finals next week at WWU (Wester Washington University).  Then she'll be home for Christmas break.

Orion,

Thanks. My finals start on Tuesday at GMU (George Mason University), and will end the week after.

Personally i was never THAT interested in the origin of life. I mean, i'd love to know, but i wouldn't occupy myself too much with the chemistry behind it.

Fortunately, some people are nothing like me. =D

My degree is in chemistry, so I find myself very interested in abiogenesis.

Yeah, Wisp - it's a good thing not everyone is like you.  On the other hand, you ain't bad, kid.  You have a good head on your shoulders.

Why thank you!

By the way, was "Your Innef Fish" good?

I didn't respond to your post via PM because i'm too lazy to do a backup of my stacked up inbox, and didn't want to go off topic in that thread.

But this one is worthless, so... Haha!

"Evolving mud"... How silly...

Does that count as an insult?

Mud becoming a cell...

You know what the nice thing about strawmen is?

They need them to mock us.

We don't.
