"But you're quite wrong about my general understanding of science -I do actually have a doctorate in a field that involves an education in physics, chemistry, material science, as well as general biology, anatomy and physiology. "

I especially like this part:

"I'm not going to tell you which field as it has nothing to do with you but you'll just have to trust me on this. Some of these subjects I have a more in depth knowledge than others but none of my fields of knowledge include evolution in any particular depth except insomuch as I spend all my spare time reading about it."

Now, the person that wrote this has now claimed or implied that he does not have a PhD or EdD.

That leaves MD.
But why would an MD need classes in botany or material science?

I think I smell a poseur...

I also note that this person claims:

"At University I was educated in Haeckel's Ontogenic Recapitulation of Phylogeny..."

Interesting.  Especially since the same person wrote, just a sentence earlier "none of my fields of knowledge include evolution in any particular depth except insomuch as I spend all my spare time reading about it."

Anyway, if what Les- I mean, this unnamed creationist claims is true, and he was 'educated' in Haeckel's 'ontogeny...", then I contend that this creationist is at least 100 years old:

Evolutionary theory is not founded on Haeckel's observations or theories. Haeckel's work was discredited in the 19 th century, and has not been relevant to biology since the rediscovery of Mendel's laws of genetics. That the biogenetic law is false has been the consensus of biologists for over 100 years, and developmental biologists have been working constructively to provide alternative explanations, which have so far all been evolutionary in nature.

Interesting, what YECs will claim to prop up their feeble faith...

I have a chiropractor acquaintance with a DC, pleasant enough fellow, but he would be far above Lester's demonstrated knowledge of anatomy.

Pogge:” This is the volume of a sphere with a 62 kilometer (about 39 miles) radius, which is considerably smaller than the 2,000 mile radius of the Earth.”
Wikipedia:” For Earth, the mean radius is 6,371.009 km(≈3,958.761 mi; ≈3,440.069 nmi).”
Wisp to Lester (on Pogge): Do you admit he was wrong about the basics?
Lester: No
