Sorry for using the term "kids" instead of students, but I didn't have enough room for that.  Anyway, Hillary Clinton was visiting an educational facility recently, clapping her hands at a pace of about twice per second.  She stated that everytime she clapped her hands, a minor dies.  While I was amused by a comment by a student "Then quit clapping your hands.", I found it disturbing that she was trying to indroctrinate the students and turn them in favor of gun control.  Speaking against drugs and stuff like that is OK, but when it comes to politics, let the students think for themselves!

Isn't speaking "against drugs and stuff" politics too?

And why shouldn't she tell the students what she thinks?  Kids are smart, they can figure it out for themselves.  Forever protecting children from knowledge doesn't help them, it hinders them.

First of all, very few people debate weather or not drugs are harmful, but plenty of people have different opinions of gun control.  We don't need to teach them opinions.

Also more Students will be killed by drunk driving, or by drowning than will be killed by guns. So shouldn't we ban cars, alcohol, and water?

What Brutus means is "It's OK to teach kids opinions so long as they don't contradict my own.

Uh, surely Brutus isn't favouring any sort of censorship on teaching? Ethmi is the one who is anti-people-teaching-opposing-views.
