Well, obviously America is therefore not a "Christian nation" under a "Pagan government" as you say then, as it seems SOME people within that nation HAPPEN to NOT be Christian, as this Pagan Government must allow for their rights to be acknowledged. So, it's a Pagan Nation under a Pagan Government, and if we simply let the two Pagans cancel each other out, we have a Nation under a Government.

No one should be offended by the term pagan, even tough the word might be used with negative conotations.

There were "christians" around when this country was founded, but there were also "non-christians". Since the "christian" god seems to be the favored god, people like to assume this is a christian nation. However, "christian" and "nation" cacel each other out, because the bible says the "christian kingdom" is not of this world.

Therefore, we are a nation of people with a common bottom line: Freedom.

The religious will hold on to their gods in the face of absolutely contradictory reason, but why should that surprise anyone? "Christians" destroyed 700 years of knowledge when they burned down the library in Eygpt. "Christians" have justified slavery in America using their god. They've also burned "witches".

Throughout history, religious belief in a mononthiestic diety, has been at odds with science or the advance of knowledge. It is has been responsible for some of the bloodiest history in the world, and no matter how many times people kill people, they continue to justify  it with their god.

I don't care if you want to believe in a monthiestic diety or a polythiestic tier of gods.

Don't lump me in with your christian nation cult, and please, don't assume that aitheist like myself care about condemnation to France, any more than we care if you turn us into newts. Neither makes any sense.
