Funny, the Puritans were an extremist group and started Christianity in this country long before heathens had "equal rights."

BTW thanks for you opinon.

Well, you could always simply be happy with the belief that you are on your way to eternal salvation and those who do not follow your faith are doomed. You need not impose your beliefs on those who will simply reject them - what's the point?

It's better to have a Government that accepts a variety of beliefs, rather than one that imposes its own beliefs on others.

Well it appears that Christ had INTENDED for a crop that was tare/darnel(homosexual, pagans, athiests, etc) free, but it is the God haters that are always infiltrating the good soil (government/country).

Matt 13:  24 He put before them another parable, saying: The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man sowing good seed in his fields. 25 But while the men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed darnel in the midst of the wheat, and went away. 26 And when the blade sprouted and produced fruit, then the darnel also appeared. 27 And coming near, the slaves of the housemaster said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then from where does it have the darnel? 28 And he said to them, A man, an enemy did this. And the slaves said to him, Do you desire, then, that going out we should gather them? 29 But he said, No, lest gathering the darnel you should uproot the wheat with them. 30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest. And in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather the darnel, and bind them into bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary.

you're going to be so embarrased one day when you have to explain your gross misuse of the bible and parables. the saddes thing is that you're so stubborn, nobody will be able to help you, but you can't say nobody tried. what makes you think you aren't a tare anyways, you haven't done one bit of good in any forum, so i'd love to hear why you think you're going to get rewarded, while the rest of us (which are all lumped together) will be removed from your little egotistical utopia.

My favorite thing is people who think their "IS NOT!" refutes whatever someone else says.  Ah . . . .next time bring some facts instead of your complaining

How would Christianity benefit us? I'm intrigued...

Do you know why your "christianity" will nether be in power? Because you discriminate against more that half the population!
Lets list who you have discriminated agains:-
-Women
-Homosexuals
-Non-christians
-Abortionist
-Scientists
-Politicians
-Anti-Gun Campaigners

You do realise that that is a HUGE chunk of the population, I mean have you ever found anyone who thinks like you? And therefore becuase of democracy, we should keep the "Pagan" gouvernments because they represent the majority. So what you are surgesting is a theocratic dictatorship. Its not going to happen, lest face facts here.

Actually, as shown in the last election and w/ Bush Sr.; if you can get the entire envangelical Christian population to vote for one candidate they would be a majority.

Although, Christians by nature do not work well together due to their self centeredness and excessive reliance on an out dated traditions. So the end result would be that an even more conservative Christian than Unworthy here would run and take quite a lot of votes away... Ross Perot appears in my mind.

no but if someone is too extreme then only the extremists will vote for them, which is a much lower percent.
