Good link florida308,
But I guarantee you that EMyers or some other gun control weirdo will criticize it yet again. And try to counteract it with their stupid theory "that everything will be so much better and safer without guns" and gun violence BS stats and that its "better to die by a killer unarmed than have a better chance of survival armed".
Or EMyers will put in something stupid which has nothing to do with the topic even though everything in the article is so clear and makes sense.

You can show all the truth you want to the gun control and anti gun people they just wont listen and believe what we say even with the most credential evidence and research they still believe in their retarded theory that only the "PERFECT GOOD" police and Military should have guns and everyone else should not have them and everything will be all happy and everyone will stop killing each other and all come together and hold hands and all the violence and crime will suddenly dissapear. You can show them everything they will not change especially the Hardcore Anti gun wussies.

Still reading it, but I'm just trying to figure one part out...

Criminals have firearms in 10% of all violent crimes, knives in 6% of violent crimes, and a bat or other weapon in 5% of violent crimes.

What did the other 79% have?  A q-tip?

Another curiosity...

The national violent crime rate in America is at a 30 year low, and has been decreasing or relatively stagnant since 1993

Yet, isn't this about the time that we started making STRICTER gun laws?  I'm having a hard time deciding whether you are a gun proponent or a gun opponent in disguise.

YOU SEE EMYERS still does not get it.
He is very NARROW minded when it comes to a simple clear article with easy to comprehend statistics and tries yet again to twist it around into something that does not make sense.
Still at it again with stupid gun control propaganda.
I should call him General Nonsense.

You are having a hard time thinking and researching before you post.

The only real national gun control measure took effect in 1994.  This Assault Weapon Ban affected weapons used in 2% of gun crime, and .2% of total violent crime.  The Brady Bill also required background checks.

Also during that time period the gun ownership rate in America hit its all time high, and concealed carry laws swept across the nation, allowing individuals to carry guns in public, now adopted in 40-something states.

So if gun laws are getting more lax, what are you complaining about?
