I was reading the news paper on the train this morning and there was an article on the Dallas crime rates.  Dallas, long tagged as one of the nation’s most dangerous cities, brought the overall crime rate down 3.6%, and dropped the murder rate to a 40 year low.  Across Texas, the overall crime rate fell 2.3%.

But how is this possible?  In 1996 Texas passed a law allowing citizens (with a permit) to carry concealed handguns, and thus, in gun grabber parlance, “flooded the streets” with guns.  And 10 years later, murder in Dallas is down to a 40 year low.

If there is one thing we have learned from gun grabbers in the wake of the VT shooting, “flooding the streets” with citizens legally carrying guns is only capable of increasing crime and violence, never decreasing crime and violence.

So gun grabbers, what the heck is going on in Texas?

Kindrox... I live in a country were gun laws have been enacted for years now.  10 years ago several types of firearms were outlawed and guns laws tightened significantly, I had to hand in 2 of my rifles which I was partly compensated for.  Before that happened plenty of well to do people like yourself were armed to the teeth with all sorts of facts and figures and newspaper articles and all of that was good for nothing.  Our version of the NRA, Sporting Shooters Assoc, constantly fed the population all the facts and figures in the world.  At the end of the day it did nothing to help lawful gun owners.  A lot of the developed countries around the world have enacted gunlaws and the USA is certainly in line to be next, Second Ammendment or not.  Hopefully you find this posting enlightening as I am already at the point were you don't want to be...
